VP Sales

My client is a leading enterprise software company for all customer-facing functions. With advanced AI, my clients unified customer experience management (Unified-CX) platform helps companies deliver human experiences to every customer, every time, across any modern channel.


Headquartered in Manchester UK with employees around the world, they work with more than 1,000 of the world’s most valuable enterprises — global brands like Microsoft, P&G, Samsung and more than 40% of the Fortune 100. 


The Sales Director will partner with Marketing and Customer Success to drive conceptualization and implementation of sales strategies and secure sustainable new business pipeline. The ideal candidate will have proven execution of building and leading a new business sales team, partnering with multiple leaders to develop the strategy and key processes.


New business is the obvious life blood of a company’s revenue stream, and the Sales Director must be able to both focus on the achievement of sales targets while keeping a strong teaming approach in their engagement with Sales leadership.


In this role you can expect to...

  • Partner closely with Geo leaders on continually refining our sales strategy/process and engagement with Sales & Customer Success
  • Partner with leadership to ensure alignment in our go-to-market for Sales/Renewals
  • Become an expert in products and solutions, often re-selling the value and identifying future expansion opportunities
  • Create and deliver summaries of key performance metrics that help the Sales organization focus on execution & expansion, our customer’s success and account planning 
  • Engage with field operations to establish effective analysis of trends and performance in order to continually identify greater efficiencies. and achieve operational excellence.
  • Work closely with our Channels teams to drive growth and expansion via our partners
  • Assist Sales, reps and/or leadership with negotiations & strategic discussions
  • Lead cross functional initiatives in support of Renewals, collaborating closely with Sales, Operations, Customer Success and Finance


You may be a good fit for the team if you have...


  • 10+ years of progressive Leadership experience in new business Sales in a SaaS environment
  • 3+ years success leading a team of individual contributors and/or other managers
  • Strong executive presence and ability to closely partner with multiple layers of the organization
  • Strong financial/analytical background who is sales driven with a growth mindset
  • Experience scaling teams in a hyper-growth environment
  • Ability to adapt and plan on the fly and deliver on both the customer and organizational needs
  • Strong communication (both written and oral), negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated focus on execution towards desired outcomes with a track record of success under pressure
  • Experience creating employee-focused programs to drive engagement
  • A strong understanding of enterprise software selling processes


Salary: £150,000-£180,000 base x2 OTE

Senior Account Executive

Senior Pre-Sales Consultant

A great role with a hyper-growth Pre IPO Data Integration vendor, who have recently gone through series C funding and are now going through their next phase of high growth and looking to triple the headcount in the next 18 months.


In this role your can expect to:


  • Assist the regional Sales Director and select partners with preparations for customer and prospect meetings, presentations, scoping and competitive positioning.
  • Provide technical account management, project management, and conduct hands on product demonstrations and technical discussions with prospects, customers and channel partners.
  • Lead and manage pilot and proof-of-value (POV) execution in complex environments aligned to defined client requirements. Post execution a report and stakeholder presentation would be delivered outlining the findings, successful use cases. value proof, client value proposition and next steps.
  • Develop and evolve solution propositions that fit the needs of midmarket to lower enterprise customers in the commercial space to build custom propositions that resonate with the clients you are working with.
  • Qualify opportunities by understanding the customers business need, operational pain points and technology ecosystem.
  • Work with the regional sales director to articulate value propositions, differentiation, and solution architecture.
  • Work closely with existing customers to help them maximise value from the investments and look for additional use cases to increase value and environment coverage

  • Experience in solution selling of SaaS or Cloud solutions
  • Work as a liaison between channel partners and salespeople
  • Ability to close business while achieving a high level of partner satisfaction.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Degree in business, marketing, or IT preferred
  • Strong presentation and communication skills are mandatory. As well as skills in time management and organizationFluent English and communication skills


Salary: £80,000-£100,000 base + 30% bonus

Head of Account Management

A unique opportunity to join a scaling SaaS business with share options who are looking to IPO in the next 2-3 years. The business has experienced 30% YOY growth for the last 3 years, with no signs of slowing down and a market leading offering.


In this role your can expect to:


The Head of AM will oversee a team of 7x Account Directors who play a pivotal role in the rapidly growing the account spend of roughly 200 enterprise accounts. Account Directors consult Enterprise clients, enabling them to make informed business decisions and stay competitive across partner teams. 


You will be responsible for establishing, implementing and driving business policies, objectives and initiatives. You will plan strategies for account retention and growth as well as work with different business partners across the organizations to establish goals and sales targets.


Other key responsibilities:

 

  • Communication of strategic plans to account teams, and oversee the implementation and execution of those plans.
  • Interface with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Operations and Executive teams.
  • Identify and resolve issues/problems encountered by our customers acting as an Executive Sponsor on high profile or Strategic account
  • Conducting regular Business Reviews to ensure our plan is aligned with customer business objectives and strategies.
  • Design and maintain reports used in sales analysis.
  • Bridge the gap between product teams and customers, effectively managing expectations on feature requests and releases.
  • Identify product penetration, renewal, and upsell opportunities within your customer base.
  • Deliver training, analytics, insights, and best practices to Account Director teams under your management


You may be a good fit for the team if you have...

 

  • 8+ years of experience in Key Account Management, selling technical and complex solutions in a data based SaaS environment is required
  • 3+ years experience managing sales teams that support large, complex and strategic accounts
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate business concepts
  • Adaptable with a positive attitude and desire to collaborate
  • Highly organized with the ability to track and coordinate a wide series of tasks


Salary: £110,000-£120,000 base + 30% bonus

Location: UK - London - office twice a week
